In this first one my granddaughter Madeline decided that she just wanted to dress up like a witch and run around outside. When I saw Spookalicious I knew I was going to scrap these photos. This one is my youngest granddaughter Sydney. My DSIL is in Kuwait but he told my daughter that he wanted Sydney to be a pumpkin for Halloween this year so here's Sydney with her Pumpkin costume on that she'll be wearing for Halloween, she does not like the hat.

Scrap Shana has also just re-vamped and re-released one of my favorite kits. Owl Always Love You is such a fun kit for Fall with adorable owls and puff leaves and trees. Where has the time gone?

Wow I just came to my blog and saw that I haven't blogged in almost two months, where does the time go? I'll be nice and only tell you about my trip and save the rest for another time.
Oh and I do have a freebie for you, hope you like it.
In June I went to Las Vegas with my daughter Michelle, son-in-law Todd and granddaughter's Madeline and Kimberly. Who would've thought that there would actually be enough to do with kids there. I thought it would be mostly gambling and nightlife things, not so.
Well to start with we went because Michelle had a lawyers conference there and she was one of the speakers. So Todd, the girls and I would go out mornings walking with both girls in the stroller and we did walk. But what a great way to see Las Vegas. We went to the M&M store one morning, spent way too much on M&M's. Would you believe they were $11.99 a pound, heck I could've stayed home and gotten a one pound bag for about $3.00. No we didn't know the price until we went to check out. See you can pick and choose the colors that you want, therefore you pay the price. We left there with $187.00 worth of M&M candies, shirts and stuffed animals, we really got sucked into that one.
The next day we headed out and went to the aquarium which was almost 3 miles from the hotel and we walked it with the girls in the stroller, boy they had it easy. The aquarium was well worth it even after that long walk. The best is when you walk through the tunnels with the fish swimming all around you. Of course Madeline wanted a souvenier, I told her that I would let her get something very small so she settled on a necklace, good that was easy.
Okay now we find the Secret Garden the next day at the Mirage, Seigfried and Roy's place. Wow what a garden of Lions, tigers, llama's, a panther and I think Madeline and Kimberly's favorite the dolphins. What a great place to take kids. The animals were beautiful and we really enjoyed watching them feed and play with the dolphins.
The rest of the week we didn't spend as much on things to bring home, heck we only had so much room in suitcases right, Wrong!! We then went to Circus Circus and inside there it's like a carnival, all types of Carnival games for the kids to play, including Todd and I LOL. At one game I had Kimberly sitting on my lap as I was rolling balls to make my horse move across to beat the other 11 players, no luck. But we did play again, I rolled three balls and I don't know if Kimberly thought she could do better or what, after all she was only 2 years old the end of April. Well guess what she did it, she beat the other 11 players. Now we have her stuffed animal that she won plus a few others that Todd and Madeline won. Okay so now we say, how the heck are we going to fit these into the suitcases and we still have 2 more days in Vegas.
After each of these morning trips we had the girls rest and then it was off to the pool until it was time to get ready for dinner.
To round out the week Todd bought Madeline and I tickets to go to Cirque du Soleil. Oh wow what a show. Madeline sat on the edge of her seat the whole time, I myself had to refrain from doing the same. If you ever get a chance to see this show make sure you go. I know I wouldn't think twice about going again, so worth it. Oh and I bought Madeline a mask, I know no more souveniers, really that was the last one. Well for the kids, I still had to buy stuff to bring home for friends and I did and we did get it all into the suitcases and backpacks. I'm surprised the zippers held on everything.
So that about sums up our week in Las Vegas, the city that never sleeps, but we definitely slept well at the end of each day.

Now I want to show you the new Collaborative kit that is available at Digiscrapaganza. The July Collaborative kit is called Life's A Picnic and it's huge. It's 4 full size kits in one with 2 full alphas and it's only $15.00. But here's the best part if you make a $5.00 purchase you can get this awesome Life's A Picnic kit for Free. I don't think you can pass up a deal like that. Here's the preview, I love the bright bold colors and the fun elements in this, so much there to make a number of Summer Layouts. Here's a couple of layouts I did with this fun Collab kit Life's A PicnicHere's a preview of the Quick Page that I made for you with Life's A Picnic. Oh Happy Days

I had some great news this past month, one of my layouts was published in the April Issue of Scrapbooking.com Magazine and another one was published in Scrapbook News and Review just a couple of days later.

More great news is that I've been added to the CT of Carjazi Designs and it was her kit Always My Heart that I used for the layout that was published in Scrapbooking.com Magazine. Here is the link to the layout and article if you're interested in seeing it. My layout is called Sweetness
Right now Diane aka Carjazi Designs is having a clearance sale on many of her paper packs and alphas at Digital Scrap Garden for only $1.00 each you can check out Diane's store HERE.

I also have some great news about Shana aka Scrap Shana. Her store Digiscrapaganza is now a new site with a Forum and a Gallery and outside linking is allowed, something that a lot of sites no longer allow. May 1st will be the official opening of the site with some challenges to participate in. Hope to see some of you join the site so we can see your layouts and hopefully you'll join in on the challenges. Oh and the last time I posted which has been a while I showed some of the kits that are available at Digiscrapaganza so if you didn't see them before you can just scroll down and take a look at a few of the kits that are available by Scrap Shana in the Digiscrapaganza store. Here is the link to the Digiscrapaganza Forum

I'm off to Virginia on Friday and will be gone until the following weekend. My granddaughter Kimberly will be 2 years old on Monday the 27th but on Saturday she'll be having a birthday party with her playmates. I'll be staying the week because then on Friday May 1st my granddaughter Madeline's pre school is celebrating Grandparents Day. Of course I can't miss that so instead of coming all the way home I'll just stay the week to attend that with Madeline. I'm so looking forward to spending time with the girls as well as my son-in-law Todd and daughter Michelle, which by the way she will be 37 this Friday the 24th. Where does the time go.

Enjoy the rest of your week!!
